Aldis
Aspect of Battle
One of Vortigern's most loyal and powerful servants, Aldis is the aspect of all things fighting. She historically finds the inciting incident behind any given combat unimportant, and instead focuses on the love of battle instead. She embraces her rage and fury and passion and turns it into a flurry of death to whomever finds themselves in her wake. Many cultures, specifically those of Friggamn revere her in her own glory, rather than the metal warlord himself.
Followed by her warband, Aldis appears during times of great conflict. War, invasion, massacre, simply to test the might of her and her soldiers. Some say she takes different forms only to rise to the top of military ranks, before dissappearing, only to do so again later. Seeking battle is her passion, and she will find it.

Holy Books & Codes
Those who worship Aldis find themselves guided by her love of battle, and dream of fighting alongside her. Many of the Friggamn wastes, that much like Kaigrim, those who fall in her name, while reveling in their final moments in battle, are taken to join Aldis' ever growing warband. While she has no honor in her history, many followers of hers consider magic to be unfitting to how Aldis supposedly teaches. Deception, magic, and other underhanded tactics are seen as against what she believes.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Upon ascending, it was told that the ram horns she had worn on her helmet became a permanent fixture on her head. Those who follow in her name find themselves bearing symbols of hammers, or helmets with horns like hers. It varies, and rarely seems to matter.
Physical Description
Special abilities
Tales of Aldis describe her abilities on the battlefield to be inhuman. They say that a single strike of her hammer could level a city, and that if she were to bring momentum to those swings, the Argent itself would be at risk. A master of every weapon, combat form, and style, she retains her historic preference of single handed hammer, and horns; knocking down peoples guard before bringing her head to theirs in the ultimate contest of wills.

Personal history
Around raider campfires along the frozen shores of Friggamn you may hear stories of Aldis' origin. Some say she was originally a young girl of the tribes, others say she was a great tribe leader and instead chose a female form upon ascending to throw off opponents. Though, the most popular origin story is that of the young hunter, Aldis Sigbrandottir. Eyes trained on a winter boar, piercing through the raging blizzard with an focused accuracy fueled by her hunger, the young huntress would slip. A distant war horn would break her focus, and the boar would flee. Though, her eyes were no longer on her meal. She'd turn to see her distant village, with the recent addition of large black smoke trails escaping into the sky.
This battle would be being lead by a man once known as Koigrim of the Flame, known for the trail of razed villages he'd leave in his wake. Followed by his loyal warband formed from the warriors cunning enough to betray their homes before the axes fell upon them as well. Aldis would try to be a hero, finding her way back, and confronting Koigrim all on her own. Unlike many stories like this one, Koigrim was not outsmarted. This giant didn't fall to any simple sling; and so when Aldis threw her hammer at the man it was easily deflected, and she'd swiftly find a spear in her leg, and her consciousness fading.
Koigrim was intrigued by this girl, and so he kept her. Look forward to twelve years later, and we reach the climax of this tale. Aldis, having spent more than a decade raiding alongside Koigrim, had forgotten her childhood. This was what she knew, and this is what she loved. She didn't fight for the glory, or the honor, or the wealth. She fought for the fight. The thrill. The boiling blood and raging adrenaline so furious that one can't help but shake.
It was on this twelfth year that Aldis decided she wanted more control. The old man Koigrim grew lazy content. Raids were fewer and further between, and the man, now in his forties, was at his physical peak. During a particularly heated dinner discussion, things would grow violent. "How DARE you waste your potential!" She'd scream at him, as he'd sit at the end of their long table, the whole band watching with interest during this interruption. "How dare you waste MY potential!" She'd call, more correctly articulating her feelings. Koigrim would growl, spitting to the side as he'd stand. Descent was not something he took kindly to; especially in public. Those of the band woulds step back, and as Aldis took her hammer from her belt, Koigrim would reach out, and one of his men would hand him his axe, while another would come from behind and put both his helmet and mantle over him.
The battle was long. Some say that the respective warriors resolve was so unbreakable that the fight took hours, as even with broken bones, little blood, and a few too many blows to the head, neither would break. It was during the final few moments of the fight when, where Koigrim only grew more angry, Aldis would begin to laugh. She was loving this. The life threatening battle, the unrelenting thrill, and the unstoppable force before her. It's unclear from the mix of stories who truly the won the fight, but on the day of Aldis' death, those who knew her say they had a feeling. One in their gut, that Aldis, was eternal.
