Kingrassil, The Elder Tree of the Material Reality

Kingrassil is one of the last refuges of the Kingka. Forced out of their homelands in the Surreal, the Kingka brought with them a sapling of an Elder Tree from the Surreal and planted it in the Material Reality to establish their new home. Kingrassil has since become the guardian of the Kingka in the Material Reality, sheltering them from the rest of the world. Using its innate fey magic, Kingrassil has disconnected itself from the world, disappearing and reappearing in the far flung corners of the world.
Because of its fey magic, only a Kingka can find Kingrassil unaided. A heavy mist protects its borders, blending Kingrassil’s influence with its terrain, and those who get lost in the mist magically find their way out of the tree’s borders, never suspecting that they might have stumbled across the last refuge of the Kingka. The Tree never remains in the same place for too long, vanishing and reappearing in the isolated places in the world. Despite its inconsistent geography, the climate within its influence always remains temperate with plentiful rainfall.
Time is inconsistent within Kingrassil's influence, A day within Kingrassil could be mere minutes or several decades in the outside world.
