Everything Which Can, Does
The foundation of everything The Court of the Moon stands for and believes in. If everything which can happen, does happen, then it only follows that somewhere in the universe is a world that looks to our world as an example of how to be better. Therefore, it is our obligation to be the best example of a better world that we can be.
Summary
One of Shiv's favorite topics to contemplate is the source of consciousness, what it is, why we have it, and how it works. The deeper that she wanders through the mental laybrinth that is such a deep and profound topic, she keeps coming to the same central tenant. That is that everything that can happen, does happen.
This can be as grand as turning left over turning right, or as minute as a single sub-atomic particle somewhere in the universe being spin-up instead of spin-down. When we look at it on the mathematical scale of possibility, the astounding possibility seems to approach infinite, without actually touching it. After all, if gravity works all over the place in the universe, then there is already a limit of where we cannot go, and therefore, the boundary gives a finite space to play within. And within that space, almost everything is possible.
For instance, right now, there might be some far-distant alien, sitting at a magical window screen, reading these words as though by some electrical magic. Not written in ink by a scribe's own hand, but just as accurate. A perfect mirror separated by immeasurable space and time.
And wouldn't it be funny if, somehow, that person's common language was the same as ours, and they could understand a scribe's words without translation? These are the things a young scribe dreams in idle moments.
Great Article. I love the idea that we should all be striving to be an example to other worlds.
Thank you! I mean, it's not the worst idea upon which to base a philosophy. LOL!!
