Fungimen

A species of apparently, sentient, humanoid mushrooms. Little is known about them.

Basic Information

Anatomy

"Adults" seem to be Human-sized bipedal creatures. They have a face, featuring eyes and multiple slits leading into a mouth. Their heads end in a wide-brimmed mushroom cap. With arms and simple hands, they are able to grasp and manipulate objects. "Children" are smaller versions of the adults, featuring a more short and stubby appearance.

Genetics and Reproduction

Reproduction has not been verified, but from observations, the mushroom sprouts seem to grow atop a bed of meat, which would be used to fuel their growth.

Growth Rate & Stages

Currently, known stages are "sprout", "child", and "adult". The mushroom cap seems to continue growing as the creature ages.

They seem to reject the concept of names, stating that they have no need for them.
