Norling

Norling, short for Northerling, refers to the people descended from the culture that developed in the northern parts of Tibur. The colder climate and scarcer resources made the people turn inward and prioritize their own, forming tight-knit tribes known as clans. The Norling settlements get a large chunk of their resources from the sea, and as such they are often seen as very capable seafarers. Norling civilizations have a close relationship with music, using it as a way to keep keep track of historical events, and even communicate over large distances. Norling drums and horns are of the highest quality, as is their skill in playing them.
