Great Wheel Cosmology Myth in Arhor'ha | World Anvil

Great Wheel Cosmology

Situated in the Material Plane, Arhor'ha has close ties to several other planes in the Great Wheel Cosmology. The Feywild and Shadowplane echo close to several points in the land. Great Elementals find themselves drawn to and tie into parts of the four prime planes. Both Avernis and Mount Celestia both have portals dormant for their own agendas.

Summary

The world follows a familiar cosmology to the Forgotten Realms universe.

Historical Basis

Arhor'ha has required these connections as far back as its creation myths. It is thought that the land itself is an infernal titan's body with natural links back to Avernis itself where Tiamat's influence spills over. The same is true with the Celestial Hosts that rendered the titan neutral and its tie back to Mount Celestia and Bahamut. The two polarized dragons have their own myths in the second era where draconic, celestial, and infernal influence was recorded as primary forces in the land.   With all of the magical connection, there are still tales of clocktowers and Avernus and even The Abyss itself.
