The Holy Light

I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars. Members of the Light, or the Holy Light, are believers that the radiant magic and energy present on Arkos and in other realms are the closet connection to the Creator that mortals have. Therefore, they choose to live and serve the light itself. Many members being disillusioned with the Ancients, they claim the light is what protects and guides the mortal races, and strive to serve as a warm beacon to others in need. Many members of the Light practice skilled healing magic, though this is not a requirement of joining. Many outsiders believe the order to be a glorified cult, labeling members to be deranged or brainwashed. Some members undergo changes in their appearances, having a slight angelic glow to their skin or an amber hue to their eyes. Regardless of claims, members of the light are generally known to be peaceful, though their insistence on purging evil and darkness can result in clashes with other organizations.
