The Void

Said to be as old as creation itself, The Void is a realm of cold, dark nothingness. There are many that believe, however, that The Void is not as empty as many hope to believe. Creatures known as the Voidborn are said to have their origin inside the Void, and the Ancients fought against these creatures and their corrupting influence during the First Age.
Voidborn, much like the Void itself, seek to destroy and puppeteer any living creature unfortunate enough to enter their corrupting influence. However, Voidlings, a prepubescent Voidborn, do not inherit their evil nature until they mature, causing any corruption they spread to be accidental. Still, the Void and its denizens are actively attempting to consume and corrupt all around it in an instinctive desire to return all of creation to nothing.
