Tortles

What many tortles consider to be a simple life, others might call a life of adventure. Tortles are generally nomad explorers eager to explore the wilderness of Arkos, or wise sages willing to impart wisdom to individuals they come across. By far the oldest living common race on the face of Western Arkos, Tortles can best even the Elves and Dragonborns in terms of their memories and experience, though their civilization history is lacking compared to many other races. While tortles themselves rarely comment on it, many scholars contend that Tortles as a race owe their origin to the realm of The Deep, and somehow arrived in the Mortal Realm.
