Wyrmrot

Wyrmrot is a chronic disease that first infects the skin of the individual; causing hundreds of red and yellow dragon-like scales to grow from an origin point. The scales are in fact, tumors, though the scales are what gives the disease its name. While the disease inflicts great pain on the individuals skin and joints, the real danger comes from the neurological decay that afflicts an affected individual's mind once the disease has progressed long enough.
