Summary 

Byrne is a Human Bard who well-known for stories about the actions of mighty individuals of the past, and his singing that many people have come to enjoy. He is a member of the Explorers Guild due to his love of exploration and making new discoveries that partly inspire his works. Byrne is not a bard who is skilled in combat or the use of supernatural abiltiies, preferring to stay away from that type of combat in general.

Byrne is primarily employed by the Explorers Guild as one of their official bards, using his skills to provide entertainment for various expeditions and his rather impressive ranging skill. They often send him out to explore different places that are more accepting of a bard, allowing him to make discoveries that would otherwise require much more negotiations on the Guild's part. He is also willing to travel to more remote places that are more dangerous, provided he is able to tag along with either a skilled group of adventurers or an well-prepared expedition force.  Whenever he is on the field doing his work, Byrne will make note of unique finds around the environment. He marks them for the rest of the Explorers Guild to find later on. He also has a very good memory that serves him well, able to remember the directions of whatever new locations he uncovers. His real occupation as a Bard actually allows him to do more since most people usually don't pay attention to what most bards do (unless they get into trouble or they suspect them of being assassins in disguise). Byrne is no assassin by any stretch as he has no desire to walk that life.
