Summary

Lali Alcort is a member of the merchant Carnvell Guild, a highly skilled gunslinger, martial combat, hunter, and merchant contessa. The daughter of a former knight, Lali Alcort’s family fell into hard times after her father was disgraced. She believes they stripped her father of his knighthood through unsavory means, and she has set her secret goal of hunting the ones responsible.

Early Years

Lali Alcort is the daughter of the former Knight Ser Alman Alcort & Lady Cassanda Alcort, a merchant princess and renowned gunslinger. Lali’s early days were joyful as her parents often time with her, telling her stories of their adventures. Lali would learn martial combat from her father, and merchant & gunslinging skills from her mother. Lali also loved playing in her local community with the other children, who welcomed her wholeheartedly.
Her happy days were shattered when her father was embroiled into a scandal that result in his knighthood being stripped from him by the High Council of the Knights Of Nobliana. Her mother Cassanda also around the same time lost her merchant princess status because of her father being arrested by the same order of knights for unspecified crimes. It devastated Lali when her parents returned with news that they had to move out of Axlis, with Lali not knowing the true reasons for a long time. Lali would cry in her sleep over what happened, not understanding why this awful thing was happening to her.
Alman became a mercenary to feed their family, often working for a Baron who had many enemies. Her mother stayed at home to raise Lali, influenced by the circumstances began displaying rough behavior because of her inner anger. When Lali became a young adult, a mercenary band attacked her parents’s home sent to kill her father. Lali was staying with her grandmother when the attack occurred, and didn’t receive news about her parents’ death until a few days later.
Devastated by her parent’s passing, Lali grew more bitter about her status in life despite her grandmother’s best efforts to reassure her. Although Lali loved her grandmother greatly, she believed that she would simply take what any means owed her in life. Taking the skills her father & mother taught her, she moved out of her grandmother’s house to live on her own.

Rise Of The Merchant Contessa

She began working out of a merchant guild’s hall that had fallen on hard times, because of the influx of pirates and an rival merchant guild employing corrupt means to ruin their competition. Lali, having few options, she threw her lot with them. She would also work to restore the merchant guild, using her accumulated resources to help build it up. Lali also hunted pirates and mercenaries, taking the bounties offered for their capture or execution. She quickly gained a reputation for being a effective pirate hunter, taking down many pirate leaders.
Lali would learn early in her career of someone else doing the same activities, being also known for having being highly trained. And like her, this fellow member had been working to restore the merchant guild to its former glory. Lali met this person directly, curious who it was. She would surprising find this person in the guild a short while later, further surprised that it was actually her childhood friend Zahad. Lali inquired about Zahad after not seeing him for so long, and quickly learned that he went through similar circumstances she had. Zahad would also inform her that their home village had been seized & they forced its residents to relocate.
Zahad had been working to get enough resources and allies to eventually begin searching for the truth about what really happened, and discover who was responsible. Lali suggested they combine their resources together to rebuild the guild and create a network that will enable them to one day unravel the truth. With both agreeing, Lali with Zahad’s backing aided the Guild in not only rebuilding itself but also becoming greater than it was before. They also built a private army for the Carnvell Guild, called the Gold Suns.
After a short time, Lali began the hunt for the truth about her family’s past, and why the Knights Of Nobliana were directly responsible for the downfall of her home village. She started by hunting down every member of the Knights Of Nobliana, getting information using often brutal means. She, along with Zahad, gained an infamous reputation within Nobliana for such activity, becoming wanted criminals by the Nobliana Knights. This has not deterred Lali as she & her friends have been very careful with their identity so that they would not be discovered. Lali currently has resolved herself to finally learning the truth about what truly happened to her parents, and find the ones responsible for the downfall of her home village.
