Jazria's dagger
a highly secretive organization that employs subterfuge and misdirection to veil their covert acts of murder against enemies of their organization. Founded by exiled prince Hassani Jazria, they are a highly organized, well-funded, network of assassins. Springing from the shadows to strike down political enemies and high-value targets from under the noses of personal security details. Masters of their environment, enduring grueling training in the searing desert of Corintine.
Hassani Jazria is a highly influential prince, who was disgraced and removed from power during a civil coup to overthrow the Jazria monarchy. Hassani has olive-tanned coloured skin and a straight proud nose, with multiple teeth sporting golden caps. He bears religiously inspired scripture inked into the flesh of his shoulders and back, and a savage-looking scar runs the length of his torso from his sternum to just above his hips. He is always armed with a gem-encrusted knife, whose pommel is plated in gold and resembles the head of a serpent. His fingers bear many golden, silver, and jewelled rings, many said to contain mystical enchantments and secretive powers. He wears soft linen robes and finely tailored clothes befitting a prince from the Corintine desert.
The Jazria's daggers are extremely well coordinated, however, their leadership structure is a complete mystery. It is said that they take great care not to expose influential members of their caste, and routinely speak in code to conceal their intentions. Members are only told what is absolutely necessary to their assignments, to minimize the risk of exposing their highly secretive order.
To become a member of Jazria's daggers requires an often fatal set of evaluations. Members are taken to remote parts of the Corintine desert and stranded without water or directions, and only after finding their way back to the organization's highly secretive lair does their punishing evaluation start. Masters of stealth and clandestine assassination, they are brutally tortured and humiliated to steel themselves against the art of interrogation. The darker arts of poison-making and mystical enchantment are reserved for veteran members of the organization who can be trusted with such powerful lethality. The few accomplished warriors who have passed Jazria's relentless trials are rewarded with an obscure signet ring, its true meaning only known by those who are initiated into the brotherhood.
