The Gods of Armeylose

The Gods of Armeylose all have different stories of how they arrived at Armeylose. For some they were part of the creation of the world, those four Gods are the Children of the Silent Father. The Silent Fathers first son Occidergo the God of darkness who was sealed away in the planets core. It was Occidergo's siblings; Solinatis, Lapinatis, and Notealis who sealed him away, circling him in a layer of molten rock then a layer of water. Those layers combined to create the planets crust, it was this first crust that was molded by the next four gods of Armeylose. These Gods discovered the planet while its creators were recovering in the first star of Armeylose or trapped in the dark core of the world. These four Gods were of the elements; Lumbphy the God of Air, Qua the God of Water, Ezuclies the God of Fire, and Rarivitas the Goddess of Earth. Together they filled the world with the first trees, animals, mountains, rivers and lakes. When the children of the Silent Father saw the creations of the Elemental Gods they left the first star of Armeylose and joined with the Elemental Gods, first warning him of their brother. Then the gods began to create new life to populate their world, First Lapinatis and Rarivitas joined together to have a child named Lenatura the Goddess of Nature. Then Solinatis and Qua joined to have Tempeavon the God of Time, together Lenatura and Tempeavon had a son. His name was Pheodian the God of Seasons, together these three new Gods helped balance the world of Armeylose. In the likeness of themselves three gods created people to live within Armeylose. These people are the Dwarves born from stone by the God Lapinatis, the Elves born from light by the Goddess Solinatis, and the Humans born from within sea shells by the Goddess Notealis. These people would each followed a greater race of creatures born from the same gods. The Dwarves followed the giants a race of people with similar features to the dwarves however the Giants stood between fifteen and twenty five feet tall where the dwarves stood between three and half and five feet tall. Both the dwarves and giants were muscular with wide stocky builds, the men often grew beautiful beards of various lengths and the women would have long hair that would be braided into patterns. The Elves followed the Dragons a fierce race of reptiles with wings that never stopped growing provided the food and space, these Dragons wore scales of different colours and the most noble elves were bonded with dragons as their riders. The Humans followed the Genie a group of cunning and prophetic demigods who led the humans for the first age until the genie disappeared at the start of the second age. Each of the Giants, Dragons, and Genie were gifted powers from the elemental gods. In the Giants this manifests as different skills and attributes passed down from father to child. In the dragons this manifest as each dragon having a bond with a different part of the worlds environments along with a magical breath of powerful elemental energy such as; fire, lightning, frost, or toxic gas. The Genie manifest there powers in when they are born each genie may choose to embrace the energy of one of the elements. Becoming either a earth genie or Dao, an air genie or Djinni, a fire genie or an Efreeti, or a water genie also known as a Marid. Each of these types of genie will have a strong magical control over their chosen element and the people who follow a genie will always live near the type of element that genie controls. Decifiet is the God of Genie and it is believed he was the first Genie born, the same story is told for Draigiess the god of Dragons who is told to be the first dragon.

The First Fourteen Gods

The First Fourteen Gods of Armeylose all ruled together apart from two. The God of Darkness Occidergo and his Queen the Goddess of Pain and Despair Lenore ruled along from the darkness within the planets core and from there in the first age they led the wars of Demons and Devils against the Underworld and Overworld. The other twelve gods worked together to aid and test the creatures of Armeylose, these are the names of those twelve gods and what they ruled over. Solinatis the Goddess of the Sun, Lapinatis the God of Order and Stone, Notealis the Goddess of Chaos and Lost Souls, Lumbphy the God of Air, Qua the God of Water, Ezuclies the God of Fire, Rarivitas the Goddess of Earth, Tempeavon the God of Time, Lenatura the Goddess of Nature, Pheodian the God of Seasons, Decifiet the God of Genies and Draigiess the God of Dragons. These Twelve Gods formed the Council of the Heavens in the first age and together during the second creation they reformed the world by creating a world tree stitching the world back together with the the ethereal roots of the tree. While also forming moons and planets with the remnants of old world, these planets and moons would become homes to different gods and resting places for souls. It was during this second creation that new animals, people and even Gods were born.

The Gods of the Second Creation

There was eight gods born during the second creation each one was the child of two other Gods, excpet one. His name is Solzad and he is the God of Mischief but he was born an Elf on the first day of creation. Solzad was a strong Elf Wizard and during the second age he was focused on finding a way to escape death in every way. During the second creation he found a way to join the Gods and take some of the power that was flowing threw all of them, it was also during the second creation Solzad first met Solinatis his mother goddess. He tricked her changing his form into that of Ezuclies and took Solinatis, impregnating her with the first Draulin. This was after Solinatis and Ezulcies had their first child Beamooredar, The God of Marriage who was one of the last Gods born in the second creation. Other Gods born at this time were: Sturgmi, God of Storms and child of Lumphy and Qua. Betier, God of Beasts, and child of Rarivitas and Qua. Voysien, God of Travel and Voyages, child of Rarivitas and Lumbphy. Bashmoro, Goddess of War and Child of Lapinatis and Ezuclies. Domegiess, God of Wealth and child of Notealis and Ezuclies. Bruziet, God of Wisdom and Child of Solinatis and Rarivitas. Bruziet was also the last God born during the second creation and together the Gods old and new repopulated their rebuilt world with creations of old that were saved and creations of new. The eight new and the fourteen old Gods found new homes and formed new groups throughout the second age.

The Different Homes of the Gods and the Council of Olympus

After the second creation many of the Gods did not return to their original palace known as the Heavens that was located in the first Sun. Instead they roamed the new world or made a home on one of the new planets that was formed in the second creation. For when the world was rebuilt some of the pieces flew to far to be rejoined with the main planet known as Armeylose, so those pieces were joined together to form seven other planets along with a large moon that orbits Armeylose. These seven other planets all became home to different gods or groups of gods, the two furthest planets from Armeylose. Were named Veilgomoore and Valmoorehall these two planets were considered to be beautiful by all the gods and each of them made a home for themselves there. Lumbhy the God of Air and Wind discoverd a planet of air and clouds with large floating islands spread sparse threw the gaseous planet, he has ruled from this planet since his discovery of it and has named it Brevento. There is a planet very close to the first star it is here that the God of fire Ezuclies spends most of his days ruling over the flaming elementals that live there, this fiery planet is known as Fuecego. Closer to the Fuecego the anything else is the planet of mountains and forests known as Tierra is was claimed by the Goddess Rarivitas. The God of water Qua found a planet almost all water with a small solid core of ice, this planet is known as Aguamoore and is the home to Qua and the great leviathans that live in the waters, there is also a single island in the waters of Aguamoore. These four planets Brevento, Fuecego, Tierra, and Aguamoore are known as the elemental planets for their rulers and landscapes. Each planet is home to the gods and also the many of the souls of those who worshipped them and died. This is unlike the planet Veilgomoore as now soul other then a gods has ever set forth on that planet. While on Valmoorehal there is a great Hall for those souls deemed the most worthy by one of the Gods of Olympus, for the Gods Castle of Olympus is also on Valmoorehal. The final planet in the world tree is known as Lihera and it is the home to the Goddess of Pain and Torment, Lenore rules this planet from a dark temple that is also home to many of her most loyal servants both living and as a soul. The moon that orbits Armeylose is known as Lapis, it is ruled over by the God of Order and Labour. The God Lapinatis rules on the moon and allows no other souls or Gods to enter his domain, swearing he is holding at bay a nameless threat that could corrupt anything it encounters. Since the Creation of the Second Star the Goddess of Light Solinatis remains in her Palace on the first star regaining her energy. Many Gods roam across Armeylose still in the third age only returning to their homes to regain energy or to attend councils. These Gods formed a council together and named it the Council of Olympus, this council was formed to help guide and protect the world of Armeylose. The Leader of the Council of Olympus is the God of Time Tempaevon, the other members of the council are: Lenatura God of Nature, Pheodian God of Seasons, Sturgemi God of Storms, Betier God of Beasts, Voysien God of Voyages, Bashmoro Goddess of War, Domegiess God of Wealth, Bruziet God of Wisdom, Solzad God of Mischif, and Beamoorebar God of Marriage. Once a dwarven year on the first day the Gods of Olympus meet in their castle on Valmoorehal to debate the state of Armeylose. There are Temples of Olympus spread across Armeylose for those who worship the entire Council of Olympus, this form of religion is common across the globe but is found most prevalent in societies lead by Humans or Animalfolk. There is three Gods who commonly roam Armeylose but are not apart of the Council of Olympus, these Gods are: Draigiess God of Dragons, Decifiet God of Genies and Notealis Goddess of Chaos. These three gods were not offered an invitation to the Council of Olympus because of their greed and unpredictable tendencies.

The God of Seasons, Pheodian

Born on the First day Pheodian the God of Seasons is the child of Tempaevon and Lenatura, they were born too balance the seasons and control the weathering and erosion of the world and the Pheodian did. He grew a following of devote elves known as Pheodian Elves and he blessed each one after their rebirth with the powers of one of the seasons. These Pheodian Elves or Pheo Elves aided in the changing of seasons and maintained the Temple of Pheodian of which there is four. In the early second age there was a Elf King named Ardarien Fleygleam, he was a first elf and the king of Pyeruille. He challenged Pheodian to a game of chess. The reward for Ardarien winning was Pheodian would make Ardariens son Akenrien Immortal and also give Akenrien one of Pheodians three daughters to be his bride. Pheodian lost the games of chess but he was cheated by Ardarien who used a hags help to win, the hag double crossed the elf and told Pheodian of Ardariens cheating. Pheodian was furious and went to Pyeruille to destroy Adrariens Kingdom his family line, Pheodian was confronted by not only Ardarien but his long time ally Agis Melberry. Along side Agis and Ardarien was his son Akenrien, the three elves faught against the God of Seasons, after Pheodian killed Ardarien and Akenrien he was wounded gravely by Agis and was forced to flee but as Pheodian fled the Kingdom he weathered the lands around Pyeruille for thousands of years in a matter of hours. Turning the lands to a harsh barren desert all along the north face of the brunedoore range. Pheodian has not been seen or heard from since he fled Pyeruille some think he died from the wound he was given by Agis Melberry. Others think he is alive somewhere recovering his energy, what is known for certain is since Pheodian disappeared the seasons of Armeylose have been very unstable. What was once a consistent cycle of four seasons each year all taking a close to equal amount of time; following Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, and then back to spring to repeat. Turned into a prolonged mess of individual seasons lasting over five years at times, the only consistency is the pattern still follows Spring to winter repeating itself after an unknown amount of time. The Weathering of Armeylose also stopped altogether after Pheodians disappearance, allowing for Coastal Kingdoms to remain far longer then would have thought to be possible and for mountains to stand the test of wind and rain. This unnatural weathering has resulted in the fear of Pheodians return for it is thought if he is found or he wakes he may cause the world to weather rapidly to the point it should naturally be. Destroying many Kingdoms threw floods, landslides and drought. This fear has left the Pheodian elves who still worship him to be thought of as finatics and often driven out of society, leaving the Pheo Elves to search for their lost god in remote areas or too remain at one of the four temples of Pheodian.

The Overworld and Underworld

In the first age the Overworld was ruled and fought over between the Elves and Humans each lead by their Dragon or Genie rulers. At times the Overworld was attacked by Demons and Devils these attacks were lead by the First Demon King to find a bride for his father Occidergo. The Demon King found the elf princess Lenore and brought her to his father, ending the wars between elves and demons for first age. The underworld during the first age was home to Giants and Dwarves and it was there they built there most glorious cities and it was in the underworld the wars against the demons and devils began for the giants and dwarves and they carry on to this day. During the first age the Giants and Dwarves also built a city in the skies of the Overworld known as the City of Clouds to the Dwarves and Giants. It was in this city that the Giants and Genie did trade and when this trade led the Elves and Dragons to the City of Clouds and the Dragons destroyed the Dwarves sacred city. This attack was remembered by the Dwarves and Giants and was what led to the war of Giants and Dragons in the second age which brought upon the Eternal Slumber. After the second creation during the second and third ages Dwarves, Elves, Humans, and other people live together and fight each other on the Overworld either following great races such as Dragons, Giants or Genie, or their own Royal Families. The underworld after the second creation is home to the Demons and Devils, little truth is known about what happens in the underworld after the Devils destroyed their Father Occidergo in the early second age. After Occidergos demise the underworld has entered a civil war between all the Demons and Devils Kings, with some believing dwarves and giants still live in the underworld fighting to survive admits this war.

The First and Second Sun

In the first age their was a single Sun in the sky visible during all days, it is known as the First Star or the Soul Mother and gave light and Warmth to Armeylose for a thousand years. That was until the second creation when the Gods needed energy for the world tree they surrounded the First Star in the branches and leaves of the world tree so they could forever be nurtured by the star. So the World itself could still have light Solinatis created a second smaller sun, the suns name is Pioluz but it is also simply called the second sun or known by simple folk as the only sun in the sky. This is because the Soul Mother is only visible once ever thousand years since the second creation when all the leaves and branches part exposing the First star for twenty four hours. So only the old races of people remember the the Soul Mothers light as the last one was over five hundred years ago.

Animal Gods or Spirits

For every animal there is a God or Spirit for them, these Gods are minor and all roam parts of Armeylose. Many live and roam threwout Alda Anarth, while the most well know the animal God is the Bear Spirit Urbesa. Who is known to roam the the lands north of the Kaltent Forest and has the lands she is most known to roam named after her.
