Clan Tâna

Clan Tâna is a Kalashtar family that is related to the powerful Quori named Tâna and her family. It is comprised of 14 Quori Kalashtar families led by Tâna, Ishâra, Mèlk and Shâvir.
The current Matriarch is Avanatâna.
The latest Kalshtar of Tâna bloodline is Koratâna, a Cleric adventurer.
The clan estate is part of Wroat, and includes extensive lands on a walled compound.
Kalashtar families are called 'Clans' and take the name of the most powerful and honoured Quori related to them. A Kalashtar that is linked to that Quori usually becomes the family head.
Clan Tâna specialises in healing, diplomacy, crafts and advocacy. It is powerful and wealthy, both within the Kalashtar, but also within broader society, with it's greatest strength in Breland, it's bases are primarily Wroat and Sharn.
It also boasts warriors trained by the Sword of Light in the Psi combat techniques. Kora's friend Killian ir'Demell was supported by this Clan to obtain his training there. Cynics suspect political reasons (his father is the Mayor of Sharn), but it could also be his passion and latent skill.
It has many alliances, and it is one of their strengths. Their passion and care for others, combined with their diplomatic skills and charisma tends to open many doors.
The piles of gold and gemstones don't hurt.
They have many clan members amongst the both the Path of Light and the Church of the Silver Flame in Breland and surrounds.
Tâna members often interact with nobility, guards and military, other healers and good-aligned churches, and those who look after the poor. They quietly assist non-violent groups working towards equity and freedoms and the poor and oppressed.
There are a few vocal political members of Clan Tâna who push for changes to common rights and welfare and equality across Breland. They are visibly distanced from the formal clan structure and members for good reason.
The Clan often uses its money and influence to not only help the poor, but to sponsor research with Morgrave University and other institutes. Family members hoping to be wizards or sorcerers with the right skills have excellent financial backing and contacts.
