Ohedyn Geographic Location in Aroka: Fallen World | World Anvil

Ohedyn

The Sonata wilderness is a dangerous place where dense vegetation stalked by dangerous beasts dominates the majority of the landmass. Pockets of civilization pop up here and there and usually disappear shortly thereafter, consumed by nature. The only exception is the nation of Ohedyn where nature has been tamed and bent to the will of its inhabitants. A tall, living wall of thick trees, dense moss, and sharp vines called the Hedgewall separates the savage wilderness from the garden-nation of Ohedyn ruled by the Fountain of Purity. The entire nation is devoted to coaxing the forces of nature to better their lives and keep out the dangers of the world beyond. Every structure is some sort of living plant-life molded into whatever shape they please. Even their Waveroot ships are grown from trees that have been adapted to survive at sea, taking root while on land to grow or reform.
