Slothclaw

A Slothclaw is a larger lumbering creature similar to a huge sloth. Sharp teeth and long, sword-like claws make it appear to be fierce carnivore, but that is only half true. It doesn't eat flesh, but isn't against bathing its claws and teeth with blood to scare off other predators or lesser creatures that may disturb it. Solitary and docile, they prefer to be left alone to graze and nap. With so few predators dangerous enough to threaten it, it will carry on with its own business until provoked. Those foolish or unfortunate enough to do so will find themselves in a fight for their lives. Both its powerful arms and razor sharp claws and lethal to most and it thick hide make it difficult to slay.
