Allowed Classes

Arora is low magic, so the classes with access to spells and other divine magic are removed. The available classes to choose are listed below. Use the main link to go to the in-world fluff page for the class, or the SRD link for in-depth mechanics, hosted on the Pathfinder 2e SRD.

  • Alchemist (SRD): The alchemist's abilities are focused on creating and using alchemical items, which can be a powerful tool. They can also be a good choice for players who want to focus on crafting and experimenting.

  • Barbarian (SRD): The barbarian's rage abilities are a good fit for the gritty and dangerous world of Arora. They also have some useful skills for wilderness survival.

  • Fighter (SRD): This is a great choice for players who want to focus on combat and physical prowess

  • Investigator (SRD): The investigator's abilities are focused on gathering information, solving puzzles, and analyzing clues, making them a good choice for players who want to focus on problem-solving and investigation.

  • Monk (SRD: The monk's abilities are focused on unarmed combat and physical perfection, making them a great choice for players who want to focus on martial arts and physical combat rather than magic.

  • Ranger (SRD): The ranger's abilities are focused on survival, tracking, and ranged combat, making them a good choice for players who want to excel in these areas.

  • Rogue (SRD): This is a great choice for players who want to focus on combat and physical prowess

  • Swashbuckler (SRD): The swashbuckler's abilities are focused on swordplay, daring feats, and panache, making them a good fit for players who want to focus on combat and agility.

  • Champion (SRD): The champion's abilities are focused on combat and defending their allies, making them a good fit for players who want to focus on physical combat and protecting their party. (Note: The Champion currently loses access to devotion spells and thus is slightly under-balanced. If desired, dicuss a potential replacement boon with your GM

It's worth noting that even these classes may need to adjust their approach to fit the low-magic world of Arora, as magic is rare and unpredictable in this setting. Players must be prepared to rely on their wits, skills, and physical abilities rather than relying on magic to solve problems.
