Blodyn Ludew
The Bloydn Ludew is a species of flower that only grows in the Tudra Region at the Southern base of Mount Furor in the cooled lava that has pooled around there. The flower has no medicinal or medicinal properties other than its ability to grow in an inhospitable region. It does, however, have a magical property due to the location of its growth that gives it fire immunity. There is no other place in Arrasgoth that has this flower growing naturally and it is very difficult to get one from the Tudra Region due to its proximity to the extreme temperatures of the volcano.
The flower has been known to influence some of the aesthetics of those who are part of The Fey as the flower is so rare and unique. You can often see some of The Fey wearing designs of the flower in their hair, on dresses and even painted on their skin.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Blodyn Ludew are traditional black and red plants, charred from the heat and look very similar to cracked magma. Their flowers bloom all year round and there are normally at least five flower heads per plant at a time. They have one main stalk that is ash grey in colour and the thickness of a human finger. The stalk then branches into the flower heads on smaller stems. The centre of the flower is normally orange and the pollen appears like ash.
Genetics and Reproduction
Blodyb Ludew plants produce just like most normal species of flowers in the sense that their pollen creates a new plant within the cracked ground. However, it is able to spread its own pollen by using the rush of hot air from the vents in the volcano sides to spread out more. However, they will only reproduce by the southern border of the Volcano and will quickly deteriorate in any other region or area due to the need of lava as nurtrients.
Growth Rate & Stages
These plants grow relatively quickly and normally have the first stalk growing in as little as nine weeks after finding root in the cracked land. They start to sprout flower heads within two to three weeks after the stalk has grown. They blossom into the red and black flowers within two weeks of the flower heads appearing. They will then continue to flourish from that point on, but will loose their flowers every five to six weeks due to the extreme heat of the lava flowing through it. The flowers will then reappear after two weeks of none.
Ecology and Habitats
The optimal environment for Blodyn Ludew plants is within the hot climate of the Tudra Region, at the base of Mount Furor. It does not flourish or grow in any other area, and uses the lava to sustain itself and give itself fire immunity. If someone was able to gain access to the flower and could maintain the heat without burning alive, they may be able to harvest its property to create a potion of fire resistance, as long as they had the know-how.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The plant interacts with the world just like any other plant would, but it's immunity to the fire means that it can actually set its route into the lava and use it as a fuel source. This means that there is lava moving through the stems of these plants at all times, which gives it the 'cracked magma' look.
