Melandru

The human goddess of nature, Menandru ascended during the time of the human Northern Kingdom. As records are difficult to retrieve from the Northern Wastes, and the goddess is not forthcoming about her origins, her origin story is shrouded in myth. The most popular is that Melandru was a favored human lover of Jiisho, and who ascended when Jiisho gave her responsibility for overseeing the coastlands of what was then the Northern Kingdom of the human empire prior to the Cataclysm. Her following is particularly strong amongst human sailors and coastal inhabitants.
Adherents to her ways tend to be those who deal directly with the wild and natural world. She claims followers as lowly as farmers, fishermen, and miners and as high as the human royal family who is careful to honor all the human gods. Although druidism is not a religion and does not require worship of a specific god or goddess, virtually all human druids follow Melandru and many if not most of the other druids of other races are also her followers. Melandru sees to the natural order of life and the world. She is generally perceived as gentle and generous in common literature, but she holds a darker side.
