Stone Throne

The Stone Throne is a term that refers to the actual throne of the Dwarven King, or in common speech, to the government of the Dwarven Kingdom.   The current artifact - the Stone Throne is a relatively new relic of the Dwarven Kingdom having replaced it's predecessor in AH 1288. The Stone Throne is decorated with symbols of the sun and life both plant and animal. It is covered with thick layers of pure gold representing light. The large spirals of unfurling leaves frame the seat covered in etchings of solar rays. The base of the throne is reminiscent of the claws of a predator, and emblems on each arm of the throne represent floral petals, deriving life from the sun. Huge gemstones - diamonds (center - representing sight), rubies (top - representing blood) and emeralds (bottom- representing plant life) decorate each side of the throne.
