The Grandmaster Ninja Kami

Hanzo is a grand kami and founder of the three primary ninja clans of ko shusshochi, the lifespring clan, the storm clan, and the shadow clan. A member of the six divine guardians of ko shusshochi, he was acted from the shadows, hidden, swiftly protecting the lands while hidden in shadows. As the original shinobi he is skilled in all disciplines taught throughout the shinobi clans and even independent self-taught shinobi. While it is not known what his true ward is, his actions towards mortals speak more then his inherent purpose, refusing to accept the common people and downtrodden from being exploited or harmed by corrupt authorities and warlords. He is the enemy of tyranny anywhere. At the height of his activity, he was a well-regarded danger in the eyes of the ko shusshochan shogunate due to his ability to turn against them if he deemed their actions against the people they ruled over. However, after having disappeared during the dark war, his current whereabouts are unknown.
He is often depicted as a ninja in purple attire, commonly wielding his well known chain sickle and massive shuriken. As one of the more humanoid kami, his existence is close to that of mortals and he has interacted and intervened commonly within mortal affairs before his disappearance.
