Kandor Sol (ˈkan-dȯr ˈsōl)

God of The Day & Suns

A child of the dragonfather, Kandor Sol is a very unique being of creation, a more literal representation of the sun then most gods are of their domain. He is very beautiful, with ruby scales, long, curving ruby horns, and eyes that of the sun itself. He is very short and very slender, and seldom smiles. He usually wears nothing, due to his draconic and elemental appearance.
He is also associated with poetry, and oaths. He is often worshiped by priests. His large numbers of followers can be primarily distinguished by the magic they wield. There are a small number of sacrifices to him in meadows. There are many myths involving his friendship with Aelei. He is known to sometimes place aid for of mortal warriors.
While his symbol is the sun, usually amongst his followers, building an altar or shrine that allows constant access to a beam of sunlight to the altar is preferred as the real sun means much more to them.
Whenever a sacrifice or gift is left for him, a sunflower will appear in it's place to signify he's accepted the gift.
Due to his connection with the sun, his followers heavily dislike, and hunt creatures who are weak to daylight and the sun, considering them natural enemies of their god. They also believe eclipses are caused by Kandor Sol and Queen Lunara having an argument.
