Perses (ˈpər-sēs)

God of Disaster

As the god of disasters, Perses holds power over bringing forth, and protecting from, the natural disasters of the world, and other horrible country crushing events such as plagues or drought. As such amongst towns there is always a shrine to him to appease him and keep his wrath from their city. However he also has followers amongst doomsayers and vengeful nomads, praying for the demise of civilized areas via the very same disasters. It is thanks to this he is of a fickle disposition. As such, it is to say that Perses' worship is not one that is allowed or promoted, more that it is one that society and the church considers required for civilization to continue.   He is surprisingly plain, with gray skin, long, jagged horns, and eyes the color of autumn leaves. He is tall and built, and generally appears monstrous. He usually wears leather cloth dyed dark brown.   He is also associated with witches and famine. He is often worshiped by warriors. His almost fanatical followers can be primarily distinguished by their daily prayers. There are many shrines to him in most cities. There are many myths involving her lustful relationship with Yorla. He is known to damn people of political power to doomed fates.
