Material Characteristics

A shiny gray, this metal is often simply obtained from difficult to dismantle scrap. Visually almost entirely identical to normal steel, this mwetal is often slightly heavier and more difficult to bend or soften.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Nearly identical to steel in all ways except it's increased resistances to all form of damage and erosion and higher melting point, shrinesteel is often seen as a miraculous evolution of steel created through unknown means by the original inhabitants of the shrine city. These traits leave it as a miracle metal for most warriors throughout the world despite the lack of any particular supernatural traits.

Geology & Geography

Shrinesteel is only found in shrine cities rarely found throughout the world, though some random scraps of it can be found here or there depending on one's luck.

Origin & Source

The way in which the original inhabitants of the shrine cities created shrinesteel is still unknown to the world at large, with most that is found often bought by researchers who seek to discover the original methods used to create it.

Distribution

Trade & Market

Shrinesteel is primarily sought after for it's erosion immune qualities by warriors, researchers, and even the rich who seek eternal sculptures of their likeness. This often means that the rarity is also matched by it's market price, seen as a valuable material that is difficult to both mold to usable shape and acquire.
