Description

  Anuqar is depicted as a majestic jackal-headed figure, his eyes glowing with the wisdom of ages. He wears regal robes adorned with symbols of balance and eternity, signifying the impartial nature of his judgement. In one hand, he holds the Scales of Ma'at, meticulously weighing the deeds of the departed souls. In the other, he carries the Ankh, representing the key to eternal life. An aura of serenity surrounds him, calming the spirits under his watchful eye.  

Worship and Temples

  Temples dedicated to Anuqar are somber places, adorned with depictions of the afterlife and symbols of protection. Anubian priests, known as Guardians, conduct elaborate funeral rites and ceremonies to ensure a peaceful transition for the deceased. Offerings of food, incense, and precious artifacts are presented to honor the departed and gain Anuqar's favor. Guardians also perform rituals to protect the living from vengeful spirits and negative energies.  

Clergy and Codes of Conduct

  Anuqar's clergy, the Guardians, are stoic and compassionate individuals entrusted with the sacred duty of guiding souls to the afterlife. They adhere to a strict code of conduct, emphasizing impartiality, honor, and reverence for the deceased. Guardians are tasked with maintaining the sanctity of funeral rites, preserving the dignity of the departed, and ensuring the safety of their journey to the eternal realms. They are also protectors, shielding the living from supernatural threats and malevolent spirits.
