Dolkos (Doll-koes)
One of the older Lampian gods, and almost forgotten, Dolkos is more commonly known as the god of lies. The once mighty god had a bigger and wider power before the "Great Deluge", though since then, people have diverted their faith into either more pleasant gods.
Dolkos is part of the old pantheon, a relatively minor cousin of the old hierarchy, which allowed it to survive the onslaught of the new hierarchy. Thanks to its more elusive nature and knack for trickery, it survived its family slaughter and thus its worship continued, even if divided and hidden. The new patriarchy of gods is aware of its presence, but its meager followers doesn't impose much of a threat to them, thus they allow it to live as a reminder of the old faith.
Truth is, Dolkos prefers to be in the shadows. It thrives on the doubts of people, questioning their faith and motives and alluring them to it's following. People following Dolkos most of the time aren't even aware of their devotion, thinking they are worshipping another god. Thus completing the ultimate deceit.
Aware followers of Dolkos hide their true worship, faking worshipping of some other god. Most of the times they are desperate people, forced to bargain for power in their hour of need and Dolkos arrived, before any god would. Between its many names are "the one that hides in the shade" or "the bargainer of power".
What seems to be almost forgotten is the fact that this god was once worshipped daily, by crafters and even wondering healers and while there might still be some artisan or healer that worships him willingly, most of this side of its cult have since moved (or perished of old age).
Followers of Dolkos usually wear long, dark and shaggy cloaks, like Dolkos uses to hide his semblance. Dolkos favored weapon is the longspear and it's followers In combat use it's reach to their advantage, often especializing in the Spear and Shield combination, the oldest warfare combination in Lampian culture.
Dolkos Holy symbol is a cross made of two spears with grinning mouth in the middle.
