Gernian Animism
The Gernian tribes have an animistic religion, consisting of several animal gods that work has divine spirits for the gernian society. These spirits are seen by the gernian confederation more as forces of nature and not as true gods.
Generally, each tribe has its protective totem, its spirit functioning as guardian of the tribe. This, however, does not prevent the veneration of other spirits.
Gernian Animists usually boast perks corresponding to their divine animals, those of Fenrir and Beorn wear wolf and bear skins, for example, while others like the Bean Sidhe wear helmets with large antlers of a moose.
Due to the impartial nature of the animals and their lifestyle, all gernian animal deities are Neutral.

Tenets of Faith
The gernian society doesn't see them as gods, but more like forces of nature that should be respected and venerated.
Each tribe usually has a divine guardian, working as a tribal totem, and that tribe tries to emulate that guardian's characteristics. That doesn't stop them from worshipping other spirit animals.
