Kingdom of Keltiria (Kel-Tee-Ree-Ah)

Part of the Beveritan League, deep in the northern side of the Tarhcan Peninsula resides the kingdom of Keltiria. This small reign is made of three cities (Kontebakom-Bel, Sekaisa and Okilis) and its surrounding lands, with Okilis as it's capital.

They are governed by a cunning and old warrior king named Carus. Carus was initially from a city called Segeda, though that city was razed many years ago. Nonetheless people still call him Carus of Segeda.

The Keltirians are known for their shrewd diplomatic skills with their more isolated neighbours, the Galitian.

In warfare, these warriors are master ambushers and can navigate easily through mountainous terrain. Their main force is mainly composed of skillful skirmishers, master throwers who are specialized in Javelin throwing.

With rocky landscapes as home, farming is possible, but difficult to achieve, so the keltirians aren't known for their extensive farming. Instead, these proud people used the wide plateau to their advantage and became adept and skilled in animal husbandry, where they became known for their breeding and training of deadly bulls for war.

Like most beveritans, they have an oral tradition, thus most of the population is illiterate.

Main Hub

Kontebakom-Bel

The capital of Keltiria resides northeast, close to the Avenai Border, and serves as an important commercial hub with it's beveritan neighbours.   The city, located atop a plateau, oversees the Avenai borders below, and it's required to take a long uphill road to reach the gates of the city, making it a difficult place for invaders to reach without getting winded.   The city has a successful canal crossing the city and turning into a waterfall at the edge of the plateau. The canal serves to cut the city in two, with Kontebakom being the city's surroundings and Bel being the inner city, an island created by the canal. While most of the housing, commerce and temples can be found in Kontebakom, The Bel Castle controls the island and functions as the seat of power of the city (and country).   Due to the canal, the city has plenty of wide stone bridges with a simple design, connecting the different districts, including the inner city of Bel.   Outside of the cities palisade walls, it's frequent to see cattle farms, where plenty of people live and work. Preparing bulls for war or cattle for tannery, dairy and butchery.
