Tribal Confederation of Borigua (Boh-Ree-Goo-Ah)

On the southern part of the Nakolota region and divided into several tribes, the Borigua is a Confederation of people that worship the elements.   The Borigua are distant relatives of the Moaqui and share similar traits, though they usually have darker skin and wider noses, similar to the Indra people.   The Borigua live large communities, or tribes, each autonomous. each tribe has it's own independent government system, with some being a council, while others having a monarch.   While there are a lot of nations that focus on a warrior society, the Borigua are known to be pacifists, prefering to focus on their traditions, than on international wars, thus they are usually known to be pacient and reasonable folk, prefering to win a conflict via words rather than action.   Sometimes though, their independence can be threatened, and the confederation unites under a single flag to defend their freedom and customs.   These communities are known as the best kineticists in the human lands. Each tribe focuses on a speficic element of nature and their society lives to perfect the art of manipulating that element. It's not unusual to have different tribes mix with each other, and the resulting offspring learns how to manipulate both elements, sometimes giving birth to a new way of manipulating an element (fire and water could lead to vapor manipulation, for example).   The Borigua are also keen users of throwing weapons that might incapacitate an opponent, like a bolas or a net, though their specialization is with the use of the returning boomerang.   Outside of warfare and religion, these communities society is self sustainable, with their agriculture focusing on berries, horticulture and nuts. Shoreline communities include fish in their diets, while some inland occasionally include small game.   Borigua have an active lifestyle, following the saying that a sharp body helps a sharp mind, their communities organize several athletic and kineticist contests frequently.

Main Hub

Wataaus

Even though there are a lot of different communities and there's no specific capital, the Wataaus tribe, dedicated to water, is currently the most proeminent.   The water element tribes are governed via chiefhood, but have a council system for the whole "water" community, thus, Wataaus works has a central hub for the whole tribes.   Located between Upper Lake the Varsemian Sea, on a cold platteau, the community is mostly comprised of tents made of curated pelts from sea mammal and dried tree leaves. Each tent size reflects it's importance to the tribe, with normal sized tents for personal use, and bigger tents for community use. The higher ground of the platteau enables the community to sea potential threats from sea, lake and land.   The community has a small market, mostly for internal use, though, due to it's proximity with the sea, some foreigners seldomly pass by and bargain with the locals.   The Wattaaus is known for teaching the strongers hydro kineticists. And their water manipulators are known to be both fierce in combat and knowledgeable in the arts of healing.
