Kaiu-Mon

Once an impenetrable wall that held back the Shadowlands, the Carpenter's wall was outfitted with a massive gate of Jade to allow free travel to the reclaimed lands. When trade flourished with lands beyond Rokugan, Kaiu-mon became the empire's most significant centre of commerce. The capital of the Crab clan changed and its samurai with it. Once focussed purely on defending Rokugan from monsters, they now guard cargo and merchants and became shrewd negotiators themselves.
