Yama Uchi

Yama Uchi was once an infertile swath of land deemed useless by most and the Unicorn Clan reluctantly settled here. However they quickly discovered that while the place was unsuited to grow the ordinary crops of Rokugan, the vast plains allowed them to breed horses and cattle with ease. Nowadays the pastures for horses are making way for foundries and smithies and at the mountain side of the city the mines become deeper and deeper to dig up more iron to fuel the growing industry of Rokugan.
