Artora

It is made up of 3 large Island and a lot of small islands. Split by large oceans, mountains or deserts. Many years ago there was a war known as "The Purification of Artora" (name may change) where a group humans and elves who thought they were the only pure races and therefore the only races with right to use magic. Since then only humans and elves have legally been allowed to do magic and even then is only the rich and powerful. Anyone with the gift or a pact can physically do magic but it comes with grave consequences if caught, so they do it completely in secret of join one of the many hidden groups who practice and use magic for their own purposes some good some evil.
