Aaisni

Aaisni is a religion that worships the different kings and queens of the worlds spirits.
There are a lot of spirit kings and queens but the most well known are:
Mhyr queen of the water spirits.
Trer king of the forest spirits.
Assyn king of the sky.
Ilda queen of the fire spirits.
Etis Lady of stroms.
Naris Lord of lightning.
Inula Lady of fortune.
Una Lord of brewery.
Edite Lady of fields.

Mythology & Lore

In the beginning the spirits were at a constant war over who would reign supreme in Artoria. This war was between the siblings Assyn and Mhyr and Trer and Ilda.
That was until they realised their war caused only destruction to the harmony they all created if they worked together.
Assyn and Mhyr were hard to puersade to settle for peace but after a while they did.
Naris is a child of Ilda and a human. He was abandoned by Ilda and raised along with Mhyrs children. This is the reason rain falls when lightning strikes. Mhyr and Trer had two daughters together named Una and Edite.
Inula is the adopted daughter of Mhyr as she saved the infant from a sinking ship.
The three children are considered lords and ladies as there are no spririts of brewery, fortune, growth and lightning. They themselves are responsible that.

Tenets of Faith

Be kind to everyone you meet.
Do not kill
Do not steal.
Worship no false idols.

Do not live a life of vanity.
You shall never harm any child.
You shall help those in need.
You shall take responsibility for your actions.

Worship

It is common practice to sacrafice something to the king/queen you wish favor from.
Sacrafices to Mhyr are done by throwing it into the water.
Sacrafices to Ilda are done by burning what you wish to sacrafice.
sacrafices to Trer are done by putting it in a hollow tree or any other hole in the forest.
sacrifices to Assyn are done by burying it.
Lords and ladies do not get sacrafices but rather their own festivals. such as:
The festival of the harvest honouring Edite.
The childrens festival to honour Inula.
The festival of the fool to honour Una.
And the festival of light to honour Naris.
