Effect

The magic is often used to drain intelligent souls from their bodies and place them into machines. Although this is the most common use of it the magic, it can also be used as raw cosmic energy to eradicate enemies instantly or inflict them with rot which kills them slowly. It is also used to open rifts into the void of space.

Side/Secondary Effects

The user might get infected by the fore mentioned rot, however if they know how to embrace the cosmic energies they can survive it but the afflicted might become...grotesque.

Manifestation
