Today’s humans descend from those of Southern Arvor before it was tragically plunged into the sea. With their societies in shambles, they didn’t sulk for long. Most of the human survivors of the Cataclysm were left stranded on the newly isolated Mistshroud Isles. They set out to make new homes for themselves on the reshaped continent of Arvor, unafraid of stirring up trouble along the way. They are the most common race of the southern coast and have controlled much of that land for the last thousand years (starting from the Red Realm), ambitiously pushing into the wild in search of riches and arcane power.

While they may be brash and perhaps uncouth, they waste no time in search of what they want. They are among the most diverse races on the continent, which led to petty infighting for many years. But they eventually found perspective.
