Tuskar
Tuskar, also known as Tooth harbor, located along the north-western coast of Aryndel, is a fishing, shipwrighting and trading town. Where the waters are as cold as they are tempestuous and the lands around are just as unforgiving. It was founded originally as a humble port for sailors journeying to and from the north, but has found prosperity in its fishing and shipwrighting, not to mention a promising trade in the hunting of most notably whales, but also sharks and other sea creatures that offer precious commodities.
Rare clams containing precious pearls are also said to be sprawled around the base of the sea cliffs. It has fortified itself using the very cliff it rests upon against constant raids from Pirates and Northmen alike. Its longevity is also partly due to its strange patronage towards a mysterious figure known only as The Grey Lady. Through sacrifice and oblation, the people gain this being’s protection and, through a designated medium who channels this unseen figures' words, has governed the town for many years. It is currently affiliated with the Northern Kingdoms after Jarl-Queen Katarina made some sort of deal with The Grey Lady.
Despite being such an eerie town, a prospesious amount of trade happens within the town, albiet not all legally. Being such a frequented stop for travelers along the western coast, it has a modest amount of shopfronts for the public eye, most notably The Ravana Yuga Emporium. But beneath the veil, their is a hive of scum and villany that lurk in the shadows, pouncing on any that would make themselves vulnerable.
Of The legal services of the town, the precious marine resources they are able to obtain are highly sought by many across Aryndel and even the continent, for their methods of sea hunting are said to be unmatched. The town brings in enough business from any seeking provisions and a secure rest on their nautical journeys.
