The gods have always been very active in the life of their believers. Protecting them against natural catastrophes and the invasion of nightmarish creatures. When they are not interfering directly with the mortal realm, they do so through their agents, chosen individuals wielding blessings of their patrons. They are great scholars, leaders, artists or warriors of divine essence, some even reach the state of demigods.   After the Divine War and the destruction of many cultures and pantheons, the world entered into a statu quo that held in general for several centuries. Covering all of Africa, the Middle East and the major part of Europe, the Kingdom of Egypt is by far the greatest power of this restructured world. Advanced technologically with a strong culture, it stated itself as the world's leader, despite the shy claims from other pantheons.   The Gods walk among us. We live to serve them, and they lead us to an ever brighter future. Pray your god, and be rewarded.
