A tragic sailing accident
Eloise V was already old and frail when she came to the throne, but her will was ironclad. She had grand plans to bring peace back to Nirvejan and to Divinice by extension, and after her coronation set sail. However, a rough storm (and some potential sabotage) saw her ship smashed into the south-western Stolisian cliffs. Due to Divinice's refusal to interact with Stolisia, her body lay unrecovered until 1307, where some Nirvejani refugees in Stolisia helped Nirvejani sailors safely navigate the seas near the wreck.
