A protracted battle over the right to succeed Queen Twila

Queen Twila's passing leaves a vast void on the Sunlight Throne. Her relatives declare the right to ascend based on royal birth, while Maidens nationwide declare their candidacy based on their deific heritage. Two main camps exist - those who support King Caelum VI, and those who support the maiden Azure. Throughout the war, the Stolisi - who, while part of Divinice, have remained a mostly separate entity - side generally with Caelum VI, in the hopes of restoring order to the Peninsula as soon as possible.
