Challenges in Ash City | World Anvil

Challenges

The world In Ash City is not meant for the everyday man. Brutal and unforgiving. People will struggle to even live a normal life; trying to avoid the eye of gangs that hold down their territory, the cross fire of less than moral private security, mysteriously disappear to be a play thing of the elites, or be suppressed permanently by the government for just trying to live. Every roll you make is against someone else just trying to get by and whoever rolls higher is the winner at the cost of the other.   So unlike most rpgs your not rolling against a number that the DM or book came up with. Your rolling against a Dice. One one One. Two(or more) dice enter one dice leaves. And giving that losing typically leads to a bad time. Make sure all your ducks are in a row before rushing into a room of baddies, that way you don't come back out in body bags.   Look through the list of challenges figure out who you want to be then get over to attributes to plan your path.
