Altrian Military

Structure

Altria's military has three branches, each having a level of advancement to further specialize in their field.

Army

The traditional ground troops of the military. The army is the largest branch of the military, trained specifically for ground war. Senior members of the army can often times advance to become warleaders, people who are in charge of the tactics on the battlefield, or join the Altrian cavalry.

Navy

The smallest branch of the military, Altria has never had much use for a navy, but found it wise to keep one nonetheless. The only advancement available in the navy is to become the captain of a ship, but this opportunity rarely arises.

Rangers

Possibly the most important branch of the military, the rangers are in charge of exploration and scouting. Rangers risk their lives to save other's. Advancement to a longstrider often means command of a small wilderness outpost.
