Barnabas Flanders

Barnabas Flanders is a legend in Altria. He is easily the most recognizable individual in the kingdom and were circumstances left in the hands of the people he would be their king. Having pledged his service to the Knights of Godhome at the age of sixteen, Barnabas' forty-seven year tenure with the knights is legendary. He has been offered every position from leader of the Sunmetal Crusaders to High Father of the church itself. He has turned down every offer given to him, stating that the Knights of Godhome are the stepping stone for many that would change the world, and that he would shepherd them until his lord saw it fit for him to leave his post.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Time waits for no man, including Barnabas Flanders. He is shorter and frailer than he once was, his hair has gone snow white, and his once clean-shaven face now sports a well-trimmed beard. In his hay day, Flanders stood just above 6' tall and was the pinnacle of warriorhood.

Flanders wears the signature position of the leader of the Knights of Godhome, but the rest of his apparel is modest and functional.

Specialized Equipment

He fights with a long sword named Conviction. Few living today have seen it brandished in the heat of battle, but all sorts of legends and folklore surrounds the sword. Some claim it has the power to shatter powerful magical wards, others claim it can call down holy fire on demons. No one knows for sure what the mighty sword can do.
