Pukiri

Intrepid, headstrong, and full of conviction, the Pukiri maybe be little in stature, but they often have the largest personality in the room. These small denizens of Edore believe themselves to be the chosen race of the White Knight, and see it as their life's purpose to do his will, often taking up the mantle of a paladin and sometimes even clerics.

Due to their small nature, pukiri are often underfoot and often sticking their nose into what many consider "big people business." Being just as mentally and physically mature as the other races, the pukiri despise being looked down on and have started many a bar fight when called a "Puck," a favorite tavern slur for the minute warriors. Do not mistake them for pushovers in combat, they are often cunning and have received martial training. Many of those fights resulted in a pukiri victor and a Human, or sometimes even a Goliath, loser.

Pukiri first names typically are Germanic or Hebrew, while their last names are typically marked by either their own or an ancestor's achievement such as Helmsplitter or Goblinkiller.

Common Dress Code

Typical pukiri fashion incorporates a Gothic fashion, usually crafted from a light weight material to account for the hidden chain mail most pukiri's wear in case they are called to do the White Knight's work on the go.

Common Myths and Legends

Pukiri believed that when the White Knight departed the physical world for the final time he created a protector race, giving them the courage to stand up to all the wrongs in the world and the stature to remind them that something does not have to be big to be important.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

The Pukiri find themselves drawn to larger cities which tend to be populated with humans. Otherwise, Pukiri have no preference in their companion's races.
