The Forest Goblin community usually select the wisest and most experienced member of their group to serve as the village chief.
Chief Gugena, who leads this village, is wary of outsiders but not xenophobic. In fact, her reading of old books has given her great interest in learning more about others, especially elves. She is respected for her well-considered decisions and her skill in both hunting and raising crops.
Chiefs are expected to lead from the front, although they will be guarded in battle by forest stalkers.
