Dol Dorn

Dol Dorn, Sovereign of Strength and Steel, is the only chaotic member of the Sovereign Host pantheon of gods. He represents courage, physical prowess, and warfare, and is often worshipped by soldiers. Dol Dorn does not look favorably on cruelty in warfare, instead honoring those fighting out of duty.

Description

Dol Dorn is often depicted as a muscular human, dwarf, or half-orc. He is also sometimes depicted as a powerful silver dragon.

Relations

Dol Dorn is the brother of Dol Arrah and the Mockery.

Worshipers

Dol Dorn is primarily worshipped by soldiers, gladiators, athletes, monks, and others for whom fighting or physical prowess is important part of their lives.
The bugbears of the Marguul worship a god known as Lhesh Shaarat, that is interpreted to be their version of Dol Dorn.[2]

History

According to legend, it was Dol Dorn who forced the Dark Six from the ranks of the Sovereign Host.
A popular sect with soldiers worships worship Dol Dorn as one of the Three Faces of War alongside Dol Arrah and Dol Azur. This sect was founded by Karrn the Conqueror in Karrnath, but spread across the Five Nations and even to Stormreach during the Last War.
