Welger's Amulet of Command

Wondrous Item, uncommon (requires attunement).
Faced with the danger inherent to harvesting energy trees, the wood working wand wizard Welger built a scorpion-like construct to safely fell the trees. To control the construct, Welger made his Amulet of Command.
On each of your turns, you can use a bonus action to mentally command the Tree Feller Scorpion if it is within 60 feet of you. You decide what action it will take and where it will move during its next turn, or you can issue a general command, such as to guard a particular chamber or corridor. If you issue no commands, it only defends itself against hostile creatures.
Once given an order, the scorpion continues to follow it until its task is complete.
