he Blade is the largest thieves’ guild upon Ashiel and it has a chapter house in almost every major city in the world. It is also very likely that there is at least an operative in the smaller towns and villages. Each member of the guild undergoes several years of training before they are welcomed as a full member and given their own copper blade, which serves as both useful tool and proof of membership. Each copper blade is a small well balanced dagger, which can be used for throwing though most members tend not to use it like this unless in dire need. The blade is only four inches long, tapering to a point and is made of copper. Though not many know how it works, and even fewer are willing to destroy one to find out, each copper blade also can be used as a key to unlock special doorways and escape routes in various cities.
