La Tavola Pizza

La Tavola Pizza is a popular italian pizza restaurant in Ashton Creek, owned by brothers Marco and Luca Fontaniere. The restaurant was founded in 1993, and it has since gained a reputation for serving some of the best pizza in town. Marco typically deals with customers, while Luca is responsible for making the pizzas. They also employ Paulino Bautista, who handles deliveries.

Despite both brothers being born and raised in America, Marco puts on an exaggerated Italian accent when interacting with customers. Some people find this charming, while others find it annoying. Marco can be quite brash and confrontational, and he is not afraid to speak his mind. Luca, on the other hand, is quieter and more reserved, and he tends to keep to himself while working in the kitchen.

They have now found themselves in a bitter rivalry with the new "the Bigger Slice" pizza restaurant which opened in 2001. Unlike La Tavola, which serves traditional Italian-style pizza, The Bigger Slice specializes in American-style pizza. It is owned by Sean Bowyer, though he doesn't run it personally.
