New Mexico Ashton Complex
Demographics
Primarily the Ashton family, though friends and allies have been known to live there as well.
Architecture
The main area of the complex is a cluster of seven houses, three "barns", and several other outbuildings. The houses are roughly ranch style, but all have multiple stories. They are of varying ages, as the houses and barns were built as-needed over the near century the Ashtons have had the property.
Geography
The Ashton Complex is located in a rural area in Southwestern New Mexico, near the Gila Cliff Dwellings. It encompasses a large area of land, originally purchased due to the numerous gates on and around the property. It is isolated, over an hour to the nearest town of any size, and surrounded by National Forest and Wilderness. The terrain is mountainous, alpine mostly, though the complex itself is in a narrow river valley.
